Create a flow with your own AI

You can hand the first draft of a flow to your own AI. ZestreaDB never calls an AI itself — you copy a starter prompt into the assistant you already use, and paste back only the flow it produces. The model does the tedious first pass; you keep control of what’s true.

1. In the Create Flow dialog, click Try AI-assisted flow creation.

2. Click Copy AI starter prompt, then, as the dialog says, "Copy the starter prompt in your own AI (Claude, ChatGPT..), then continue with your own prompt."

   The round-trip is deliberate: the prompt and your schema stay in the AI you already trust, and only the resulting flow comes back to ZestreaDB. No API keys, no data passing through us.

3. Paste the result into Paste Flow JSON, give it a name, and click Validate JSON, then Create flow.

4. Refine it on the canvas like any other flow — the AI drafts, you decide.

If an object already has a description, business logic, gotchas or failure notes, an import won’t replace them. What’s there was written by someone who knew — the imported version is dropped. An import only fills a field that’s empty.
