Sketch a system before the database exists

Not every flow starts from an existing database. Create a Freeform workspace (choose it as the Workspace Type) to sketch a system — objects, jobs, external services and their connections — with no schema import at all. Freeform is start to finish: you can’t import a schema into a freeform workspace. When the real database arrives, create a SQL Server workspace, import there, then move your freeform flows across (name objects schema.Object so they link to the catalog).
